First Pig Roast a Great Success

The T-Bone Ranch recently hosted the first pig roast of the 21st Century and it was a smashing success. The day started with go-karting on the 1/10th mile, 6 turn dirt track. A record SIX Honda powered karts competed for most of the morning and into the afternoon. Tim Hall, just back from winning the DTC Lites touring car championship in Germany, had a dramatic rollover in to "Cone Corner." He was uninjured and more importantly, the kart escaped unscathed from the first rollover yet at the T-Bone Circuit.

The 59 pound pig came off the roaster at 2pm and was delicious, being devoured in record time. The T-Bone Ranch thanks all those who contributed food or drinks to the mix. Later in the evening the crowd was entertained by the antics of T-Bone Ranch resident, Steve Pace, who stole the show by repeatedly walking over hot coals pulled directly from the bowels of the roaster. Steve's feet were NOT OK and he has only just put shoes on today (Wednesday).

All things considered, the Pig Roast was enjoyed by all and the mess was quite bearable in the morning. We look forward to having everyone back again later in the summer for more fun at the T-Bone Ranch.
